Department of Sanitation is responsible for the pick-up of household garbage that is bagged, in a city trash can, and placed at the curb. 

Directions:

1.) Household garbage must be bagged, placed in a city trash can, and placed at the curb. Please make all effort to bag your trash to avoid messy spills from wind, rain, and neighborhood pets.

2.) Please do not place limbs, dirt, yard clippings, or leaves in your city-issued can. This is considered compost and debris and will be picked up by the street department.

3.) We will pick-up garbage once per week, on your designated day. Place your can  at the street by 6:00 a.m. on your designated pick-up day. We will not be allowed to retrieve the can from your property, as city employees can not go onto private property. 

In order to serve all citizens fairly, we ask that you comply with the above listed directions. Make a weekly routine of placing your can at the road in a timely manner. Failure to do so may result in stench or pests.
